The Angels have been very active this off seasons making sure they get their arbitration eligible players taken care of and making sure they get the missing pieces for next year.
From the Angels website:
The Angels and Alberto Callaspo have agreed to terms on a two-year contract worth close to $9 million, with the club buying out the third baseman's final arbitration season and his first year of free agency, sources told MLB.com on Thursday (Angels)
This will be a nice signing to be able to let Kaleb Cowart get seasoned to step in and take over as a everyday 3rd basemen. I am hoping with in 2 years he will be ready.
